Eric Mummery is a visual artist from London, Ontario working primarily in printmaking and drawing along with wood carving. He is a member of Print London a group of professional artists who share a passion for printmaking. His current art practice is focused on a series of wood engravings and lithographs exploring intuitive image creation as a means to better understand mental health issues. Eric studied printmaking at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University.
His prints have been shown in juried and invitational exhibitions in Canada, the US, Taiwan, Belgium, Poland, Serbia, France, and most recently in an exchange Exhibition between Canada and Barbados at Satellite Project Space in London, Ontario, and The Brighton Storeroom in St. George, Barbados.
Eric also dabbles in spoon carving from salvaged green lumber he picks up while walking the trails in his hometown.
